یہ بتاتے ہوئے کہ 64 گھنٹے کے تازہ لاک ڈاون نے معاشی سرگرمیوں کو بری طرح متاثر کیا ہے، کشمیر اکنامک فورم (KEF) نے انتظامیہ پر زور دیا ہے کہ وہ اس فیصلے پر نظر ثانی کرے اور وادی کی نئی معیشت کو بحال کرنے میں مدد کرے۔ایک بیان میں، کے ای ایف کے صدر شوکت ایم چودھری نے کہا کہ وادی کی کاروباری اکائیاں پچھلے لاک ڈاون سے بری طرح متاثر ہوئی ہیں اور انہوں نے مشکل سے نقصانات کا ازالہ کرنا شروع کیا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ جہاں تجارتی سرگرمیاں متاثر ہورہی ہے وہیں پر سیاحت پر بھی منفی اثرات مرتب ہورہے ہیں ۔ ویک اینڈ لاک ڈاون کے اعلان کے بعد سے سیاحوں کی آمد میں تقریباً 50 فیصد کمی آئی ہے۔ اس سے بہت سے لوگوں کی روزی روٹی متاثر ہوئی ہے۔چودھری نے کہا کہ لاک ڈاون کے بجائے حکومت کو اس بات کو یقینی بنانا چاہئے کہ صحت کے مناسب رہنما خطوط پر عمل کیا جائے۔
