Srinagar, Dec 6: Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club Monday held a meeting with Director Tourism Kashmir Dr G. N. Itoo at Gulmarg and hailed the department’s efforts in development of tourist resorts, a statement issued by the club to media said on Monday.
During the meeting, the members expressed happiness over the court observations directing the authorities to allow repairs and renovations of the hoteliers at the premiere ski resort.
The Hoteliers Club urged the Director Tourism Kashmir to give instructions to the CEOs of the prime resort to allow repairs and renovations of the hotels in view of the promising influx of the tourists.
The JKHC members appreciated the role of Tourism Department in promoting and development of the prime tourist resorts besides launching agressive marketing campaigns.
The meeting was attended by Gulmarg Chapter President Mukhtar Ahmad, its Secretary General Aqib Chaya and Treasurer Naseer Ahmad Khan.
