Saudi Arabia to grant citizenship to highly skilled foreign professionals

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has approved granting citizenships to foreign nationals with specialized skills in a number of professions on Thursday.

The royal decree allows certain high-skilled professionals working in specialized areas within the legal, medical, scientific, cultural, sport and technical fields to apply for Saudi citizenship.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has approved granting the Saudi Citizenship to a selection of distinguished talents, with unique expertise and specializations.

The neq citizens are expected to contribute to the development of various sectors throughout the Kingdom, and in support of achieving its Vision 2030 goal, of creating an attractive environment that enables attracting, investing in and retaining exceptional creative minds.
