Kashmir United Tourism Bodies to hold mega show in Mumbai

Yusmarg is coming up as a major tourism investment destination.
Srinagar, Oct 30: Kashmir United Tourism Bodies Forum (UTF) – a conglomeration of TASK, JKTA. PILTOF, AKTO, DTOAK, TTIG, TAFOK, UTAI, TAAI, IATO & ADTOI – are holding a mega tourism event in the first week of February in Mumbai.
In a statement to Ziraat Times, a UTF spokesperson said that the event will be held with logistics support by Fairfest Media. The purpose of the event is to create more awareness about the fast-developing tourism infrastructure in the valley, besides opening of new destinations such as Yusmarg, Gurez, Lolab and creating more adventure avenues such as Paragliding, Hot Air ballooning, exploration of trekking routes only through  local experts with the aim to protect fragile ecology and maintain the environmental balance.
The meetings will also be held with Travel Trade of Mumbai besides the Press to ensure that there should be no fear among the travelers to visit the Valley, said the spokesperson.
He further said that UTF members will also promote cultural heritage and Sufi Circuit among the masses who show complete respect towards art & culture. In this connection, the spokesperson said, that UTF will tie up with INTACH & take advise from Saleem Beg, Convener of INTACH J&K chapter, so that all the cultural centres & Sufi Curcuit programs are devised with complete historical descriptions, the spokesperson said.
