Wathoora Sept 14: Maqsood Sports XII was declared winner in the final match of Wathoora Premier League (WPL) which was played at Shah Qalandar sports stadium Wathoora Budgam on Tuesday.
After winning the toss Maqsoood Sports XII chose to bat. They made 190 runs in 20 overs losing eight wickets. The KCC panzipora could not chase such a huge score and most of its players were caught out while chasing 190 target.
The KCC Panzipora were all out by scoring mere 120 runs. Maqsood Dar was declared man of the match who scored 74 runs and took 3 wickets. Lateef Dar @ Tiger was declared Man of the Tournament.
Social activist and Chairman RTI Movement Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat who was guest of honour during the final match distributed trophies among the winners and runner up teams.
