Taliban declares “general amnesty”; tells officials, businesses to restart normal work

New Delhi, Aug 17: Afghanistan’s Taliban movement on Tuesday declared a general amnesty for all government officials and urged them to return to work.

They have also called upon businesses and traders to resume their normal business activities.

“A general amnesty has been declared for all… so you should start your routine life with full confidence,” said a statement from the Taliban.
