J&K Bank CMD meets Shimla business clients; assures business support

SHIMLA, AUG 22: With growth and efficiency as focus areas, I believe, this visit will not only result in improving our services here but will further strengthen and deepen bonds with you besides expansion in our business here. Today, on the eve of auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan I duly acknowledge your presence and appreciate this sense of bonding with our Bank.

J&K Bank Chairman and Managing Director R K Chhibber stated this while presiding over ‘Customer Interactive Session’ in Shimla.
The meeting was attended by a large gathering of bank’s clients including Director M/S UTRI HR Services Pvt Ltd Naresh Chauhan, Director M/s Alpine Holiday Inns India Pvt Ltd Ashok Kukreja, Secretary M/s Sanvi Education Society Vishal Chauhan and prominent Advocate Balwant Kukreja among others besides Head Business Unit Shimla Deepak Sharma and other bank officials from Shimla, Solan business units.

On the occasion, the participants put forth some suggestions like delegating more powers to Branch Heads for speedy disposal of credit proposals and enhancement, opening of a new banking outlets in Shimla.

The Chairman thanked the participants for open and frank discussion while raising important issues.

“Whatever issues have come up for the discussions here would be considered seriously on the basis of merit and would be resolved within the Bank’s laid-down guidelines”, the CMD said. The CMD assured the participants all the possible financial support in developing their existing business besides establishing new ventures and urged them to support the Bank’s expansion plan to garner more business in Shimla and other parts.

Earlier during the day, the CMD had also visited bank’s two business units at Shimla and Solan.
