Covid19 again on rising trend in J&K; 160 cases reported today

SRINAGAR, JULY 28: The Government on Wednesday informed that 160 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 60 from Jammu division and 100 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 321026. Also, one Covid death has been reported from Jammu division.

Moreover, 144 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 43 from Jammu Division and 101 from Kashmir Division.
Besides this, 99.38 percent of the population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Bulletin also informs that no new confirmed case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 35 in the UT of J&K.
