Srinagar: Students of SKUAST Jammu on Saturday virtually celebrated the World Environment Day in a unique way.
The students planted various trees at their homes and other open spaces, video recorded their experiences, and interestingly, shared the characteristics of the plants that they planted.
The entire process was compiled as a video compilation.
Parshant Bakshi, one of the organizers of the event, told Ziraat Times that the event saw some of the parents have also joined and I felt contended with their words of appreciation for all the students.
They spread the message of Each One, Plant One, he said.
