JAMMU, JUNE 24: After a drop in Covid related fatalities as well as in the number of recorded positive cases, Thursday marked yet another spike in J&K, with 11 fatalities and 448 new positive cases reported today.
The Government’s daily Media Bulletin on Thursday informed that 448 newpositive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 183 from Jammu division and 265 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 313476.
Moreover, 11 COVID-19 deaths have been reported, 08 from Jammu Division and 03 from Kashmir Division.
One new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today, bringing the cumulative no of confirmed cases to 27 in the UT of J&K.
Meanwhile, 682 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 170 from Jammu Division and 512 from Kashmir Division.
