Vaccination drive of tourism stakeholders welcome step: JKHC

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club (JKHC) has hailed the Tourism Department for carrying out a vigorous and special vaccination drive for the people associated with the travel and hospitality sector.

Chairman JKHC Mushtaq Chaya said under the directions of the secretary tourism, most of the people associated with the tourism sector have been vaccinated at major tourist destinations which is a good step.

He said the vaccination drive has given hope and confidence to the stakeholders and the staff on running the sector smoothly as they are protected against the deadly disease.
Chaya also hailed Director Tourism Kashmir for personally visiting various places and inviting people for vacation.

JKHC said the hoteliers and other stakeholders will follow all the COVID appropriate behaviour and SOPs to help the administration in the fight against the virus.

“We are thankful to the LG administration, health department, Secretary Tourism, Director Tourism Kashmir for carrying out vigorous vaccination camps at various tourist spots. It would help defeat viruses and also give tourists confidence to visit Kashmir after lockdown,” said Chaya.
