J&K’s new grim record: 30 fatalities, 3023 Covid cases in 24 hours

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday set a new grim record in the ongoing pandemic with 30 recorded fatalities and 3,023 new positive cases.

With this the number of active cases has risen to 24,313 which otherwise were less than 600 in early March, 2021.

With 30 more deaths, J&K’s official death toll has reached to 2,227 and the active cases continue to increase while the recovery rate decreases with each passing day.
