ZT News Network

New Delhi: Supreme Court today noted that doctors, healthcare professionals were reaching a breaking point in the face of the pandemic pressure.
“How many beds available are ICU bed? What steps are you taking to augment ICU beds availability? Not only doctors but all healthcare professionals reaching breaking point. We have to take care of them. Can’t just leave it saying they are Covid warriors. Nurses play the most vital role. Isn’t it time we express our gratitude and give something concrete to them?”, Supreme Court observed.

“Last year, hotel stay, food, etc, were given to healthcare professionals. Why not this year? Guidelines last year said doctors need to be back to work in 14 days. Now it says 11. Why are we overworking them? Let’s express our gratitude not only by words but by coming out with schemes to help.”
