Tourism Forum expresses grief over demise of Abdul Aziz Guroo of Columbus Travels

Srinagar, March 14: United Tourism Forum (UTF) and its constituents have expressed shock on the demise of Haji Abdul Aziz Guroo of Columbus Travels and member of the Constituent Organisations of UTF.

In a statement to Ziraat Times, UTF said “Guroo Sahib was also the Past President of Airport Tourist Taxi Operators Union besides member of HBOA too. A very humble personality and all his life worked for the upliftment of Tourist Taxi Operators. He has been involved in Tourism industry for 4 decades and all his life was helping the trade bodies for promotion of Tourism. For the last 3 years he has been also the President of Intizamia Committee of KP Bagh Masjid Sharief and devoted most of his time serving the neighbors. He will always be remembered for his contribution towards trade & society, indeed a big loss to all of us.”

The following UTF members have conveyed its deepest sympathy to his son, Naseer Guroo & other family members, prayed for peace to the departed soul and forbearance to family members & neighbors to bear this loss.
