No flood threat in Kashmir: Flood Control Dept

Srinagar, Mar 24: The Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) Department today said that there was no threat of floods in the Valley, as the water level readings at key gauges are well below the alert mark.

Heavy rainfall and mountain snowfall over the last 48 hours in most parts of Kashmir and Jammu divisions, has thrown life out of gear.

However, as indicated in earlier Ziraat Times weather forecast, precipitation activity is likely to subside on Wednesday.
