J&K High Court orders KCCI elections within 30 days

Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir High Court today ordered holding of pending elections to the executive committee and office bearers of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) within 30 days.

In an order, a copy of which has been made available to Ziraat Times, the High Court has ordered fresh elections to be held under the charge of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar.

Pertinently, a section of the members of KCCI had approached the High Court praying the conduct of the elections as per the constitutional provisions of the Kashmir Chamber.
