Srinagar, Jan 19: Kashmir valley and parts of Chenab and Pirpanjal valleys are all set for another snow spell this weekend. In contrast to the strong moisture-bearing cloud system that emanated from the Arabian Peninsula and Arabian Sea during the early January snowfall, this spell is likely to be caused by a western disturbance emanating through the Mediterranean-Caspian Sea corridor. It carries less moisture and the winds are likely to divert the system northwards of Kashmir, resulting in medium snowfall this time. Jammu plains including lower areas of district Udhampur, Jammu, Kathua, Reasi are likely to receive light to medium rainfall.
