Four feet in Kulgam, 4 inches in Srinagar: this is how much snow fell in Kashmir

Snow clearance operation in Gulmarg early Tuesday morning.

Srinagar: Another bout of snowfall has lashed most of Jammu & Kashmir in the night. While heaviest snowfall has yet again, as predicted by Ziraat Times in its early forecast last week, been witnessed in South Kashmir and the Chenab valley, central Kashmir, including Srinagar received moderate snowfall.

According to reports received by Ziraat Times office, snowfall so far in north Kashmir has been quite modest.

Meanwhile, all flights have been rescheduled (delayed) at Srinagar Airport, while the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway remains blocked.

As this report was being filed at 9 am on Tuesday, heavy snowfall was on across whole of Kashmir.
