Srinagar: A brief spell of snowfall is likely across several areas of Jammu & Kashmir on Friday, according to Ziraat Times Weather Monitoring System.

Analysis of multiple weather data by Ziraat Times indicates that light to medium snowfall is likely to start late Friday in several north Kashmir areas like Gurez, Upper Bandipora, Upper Kupwara areas, Sadhna Pass and surrounding areas. Light snowfall is also likely in Bangus valley, Upper Rafiabad, Tosa Maidan, Khilanmarg and other surrounding Pirpanjal areas too.

Light snowfall is also likely in Sonamarg, Upper Gund and surrounding areas, Aru, Margan Pass, upper Kishtwar areas, upper Bhaderwah and surrounding areas too.

Light snowfall is also likely in a few Kashmir valley plain areas too.
