Farm bills need to be rolled back immediately: Kashmir fruit associations

Srinagar: The Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Union, which is an umbrella body of all Fruit Associations of the Valley, feels that the newly-introduced farm bills passed by the Central Government are completely against the sentiments of Valley based fruit and vegetable growers and therefore, consider it against the interests of farmers.

Stating this in a press statement to Ziraat Times today, the associations further said that the strike call for BHARAT BANDH on 08-12-2020 (Tuesday) given by farmers is fully supported by Kashmir Valley Fruit Growers Cum Dealers Union and all Fruit Assoactions of the Valley connected with the KVFG.

In support of strike call given by Farmer’s all Fruit Associations of the valley like Fruit Marketing Complex, Parimpora Srinagar, Sopore, Baramulla, Kupwara, Handwara, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, Anantnag, Jablipora, Pachahar, Chari-e-Sharief and Ganderbal will remain close for all sort of business and the central Government is further requested that in view of the sentiments of General Public the newly framed Framer’s Bill may kindly be rolled back immediately, the associations said in the statement.
