Srinagar: The central government has modified the THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR CIVIL SERVICES DECENTRALIZATION AND RECRUITMENT ACT(XVI of 2010), by virtue of which spouse of a domicile shall also be deemed to be a domicile for the purposes of sub-section (1), that is job application.

According to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Adaptation of State Laws) Fifth Order, 2020, notified through the Gazette of India notification No. 3377 dated October 26, 2020, accessed by Ziraat Times, after sub-section (2), sub-section 3 has been inserted which says:

Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), spouse of adomicile shall also be deemed to be a domicile for the purposes of sub-section(1).
