Cadre matters: Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats thank Navin, Andrabi

Srinagar: Agriculture Technocrats Welfare Association, an amalgam representing officers of different cadres of Department of Agriculture in Kashmir, has expressed its gratitude and thanks to Principal Secretary Agriculture Production Department Navin K Choudhary for “the generosity, competence & dedication shown by him in streamlining the departmental cadres in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.”

“Everyone in the department & even outside is highly impressed by the efficiency and confidence of our worthy Principal Secretary, who could very finely understand the agony & pain of the workforce of the department and is very accurately taking steps to address their issues in a phased manner and that too in a short span of time “, the Association said in a statement to Ziraat Times.


“The Govt. Order issued vide No. 98-JK (Agri) of 2020 dated 10/06/2020 wherein 95 of the senior most AEOs of the UT, have been assigned the charge of SDAOs /SMS III along with the similar other previous orders, have indeed boosted the workforce of the department & everyone in a pursuit of better opportunities and higher positions is working 24X7, to serve the farming community to the best of their ability. Indeed the current period is very well named as “THE GOLDEN ERA OF AGRICULTURE IN J&K’’, as every possible step is taken not only for the betterment & Upliftment of farming community but also for the Welfare of the workforce of the department”, Abdul Hamid Shah, President, Agriculture Technocrats Welfare Association, said.

“Everybody in the department is hopeful and optimistic that this trend/ policy shall continue and in the coming days all the vacuums / vacancies at different levels, shall also be filled in the same manner. Such Orders definitely charge the workforce of the department to serve the farming community with much more zeal and enthusiasm”, Mr Shah said.


The statement further reads:

ATWA is also highly grateful and obliged to all the Secretaries/Officers in the administrative department along with their team in APD at Civil Secretariat Jammu, who have put on their sincere efforts and hard work in issuing these orders, based totally on merit and justice. All the employees of the department in general and Agriculture Technocrats Welfare Association (ATWA) in particular also feel highly privileged and indebted to Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi- Director Agriculture Kashmir, and his team at the Directorate of Agriculture-Kashmir, who efficiently with honesty, commitment and in a professional way aided/supported the administrative department with all the realistic and unbiased informations sought at different times regarding the issue & helped them in framing such orders. Their role shall also be lauded with praises.”
