J&K Hajj Committee allocates 814 Hajj 2027 seats to 19 group organisers

Three HGOs allotted 74 seats each, while 16 others receive quota of 37 pilgrims each

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 27: The Jammu & Kashmir Hajj Committee has announced the allocation of Hajj 2027 quota to 19 Hajj Group Organisers (HGOs) in the Union Territory, with a total of 814 pilgrimage seats allocated to the selected organisers.

The allocation has been made in accordance with Notice No. HAJ-15/2/2026-HAJ-MoMA (C-151636), dated September 26, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, regarding the selection of HGOs for Hajj 2027.

As per the allocation, three Category-I HGOs have been allotted a quota of 74 pilgrims each, while 16 Category-II HGOs have been allotted 37 pilgrims each.

The Category-I organisers are:

The Category-II organisers and their allotted quotas are:

10. M/s Al Ansar Tours and Travels (Mushtaq Aziz Mir) — 37

11. M/s Al Haramain Hajj and Umrah Services — 37

12. M/s Gazi Tour & Travels (Mohammad Abas Pandit) — 37

The Hajj Committee has advised pilgrims intending to perform Hajj through Hajj Group Organisers to register only with those HGOs that have been allotted quota by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

It has also advised prospective pilgrims to finalise the terms and conditions with the respective HGOs before registering for the pilgrimage.

The committee further stated that, as per the latest advisory issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, no person will be allowed to perform Hajj on an Umrah or tourist visa.
