Srinagar: In a major boost to the entrepreneurship ecosystem of Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, and NSIC Venture Capital Fund Ltd., will host a high-level Investor Meet at SKICC Srinagar on November 1.
The event aims to connect startups, MSMEs, and enterprises from J&K with leading national venture capital funds and investment platforms. According to officials, around 22 “Daughter Funds” of the Self Reliant India (SRI) Fund are expected to participate to explore investment opportunities in the region.
Among the visiting funds are Atomic Capital Investment Trust, Singularity Growth Opportunities Fund I, Iron Pillar India Trust, IVen Amplifi Fund, Cornerstone Ventures, and Omnivore Agritech & Climate Sustainability Fund 3, with investment capacities ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹100 crore.
Speaking about the initiative, Irtif Lone, one of the event coordinators and an official at JKEDI, said,
“This meet is a first-of-its-kind platform designed to directly link J&K’s entrepreneurs with serious national investors. It’s not just about funding—it’s about visibility, credibility, and creating lasting partnerships for growth.”
