PAHALGAM: The Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) held a two-day executive committee meeting at Hotel Pahalgam Days to strategize on promoting the region’s tourism sector and strengthen partnerships with local stakeholders.
The meeting is part of TAAK’s continuous effort to foster a cohesive and collaborative approach across the industry.
During the session, TAAK President Farooq A. Kuthoo emphasized the importance of stakeholder interaction at both popular and offbeat destinations. “TAAK has been conducting such interactions… to further strengthen B2B partnerships and promote sustainable, visitor-friendly tourism activities across the region,” Kuthoo stated.
As part of their working visit, the Executive Committee will engage with local service providers, including hoteliers and transporters, to enhance the overall quality of tourism-friendly services.
On Sunday, October 25, the committee plans to inspect newly opened properties in the area. The purpose of this visit is to evaluate their facilities and amenities, and subsequently include qualifying properties in TAAK’s official tour itineraries, thereby encouraging regional development and broadening the range of offerings for visitors.
