4 Years After Notification, J&K PSC to Hold Revenue Service Exams for Ladakh in October

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced the schedule for the long-awaited Revenue Service (Executive) Departmental Examination for officials of the Union Territory of Ladakh, originally advertised in 2021.

According to Notification No. PSC/Exam/2025/11 issued on Wednesday, the examination will be conducted from October 10 to October 17, 2025, at Government Degree College, Leh. The departmental exam, notified under PSC/Exam/2021/19 dated March 8, 2021, will be held across eight papers, each scheduled between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm.

The detailed schedule is as follows:

• Paper I: Friday, Oct 10

• Paper II: Saturday, Oct 11

• Paper III: Sunday, Oct 12

• Paper IV: Monday, Oct 13

• Paper V: Tuesday, Oct 14

• Paper VI: Wednesday, Oct 15

• Paper VII: Thursday, Oct 16

• Paper VIII: Friday, Oct 17

The notification, signed by JKPSC Under Secretary Manzoor Ahmad Jan, has been circulated to the Revenue Department of Ladakh and J&K, the General Administration Department.

The announcement ends a long wait for Ladakh’s revenue officials who had applied under the 2021 notification, ensuring that the departmental process moves forward after a gap of over four years.
