PHDCCI Kashmir holds crucial EC Meet; frames new committees

Srinagar, Nov 26: The PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industries-Kashmir (PHDCCI-K) held an Executive Committee meeting at Royal Spring Golf Course under the chairmanship of Vicky Shaw. The meeting was attended by co-chairs Himayu Wani, Arshad Shawl, and Javaid Anim, along with several EC members and new members, a statement issued to Ziraat Times said.

During the meeting, Vicky Shaw expressed gratitude to the members for their support and congratulated the newly inducted co-chair, Himayu Wani. The chairman also proposed a new committee structure, introducing convenors and co-convenors for various committees, the statement added.

A highlight of the meeting was the interaction between the members and Mohammad Amir, General Manager from SIDBI. Amir provided insights into the benefits and schemes that could be availed from SIDBI, empowering the attendees. As a token of appreciation, all members were felicitated with a memento.

During the meeting, all members had the opportunity to share their views and experiences with the PHD Chamber. It was expressed by both existing and proposed members that the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry is currently the only professional chamber providing real-time information to entrepreneurs. The brainstorming sessions within the chamber are fostering real entrepreneurial skills among members, which no other chamber has been able to provide to date.

The PHDCCI remains committed to its mission of promoting trade, commerce, and industry in the Kashmir region. With the newly appointed committee structure, the PHDCCI aims to further enhance its services and support for its members, empowering them to thrive in the ever-evolving business landscape, an office bearer of the chamber said.
