Srinagar, Sept 9: The entrepreneurial landscape in Jammu and Kashmir is poised for some fresh ideas and initiatives with the first-ever national-level conclave on the Cold Chain industry to be held in Srinagar on September 20.
Titled the “India Cold Chain Conclave – Himalayan Chapter,” this major event is a collaborative effort between the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI), and the National Center for Cold Chain Development (NCCD), serving as the Knowledge Partner & Think Tank.
Ziraat Times is the media partner for this event.
Scheduled for September 20th at the KICC (formerly SKICC) in Srinagar, this conclave has garnered substantial support from the Directorate of Horticulture Kashmir and the Jammu & Kashmir Fruit & Vegetable Processing and Integrated Cold Chain Association (JKIPCCA), organisers told Ziraat Times.
The primary objective of this event is to establish an enabling platform for local entrepreneurs in Jammu and Kashmir, offering them the opportunity to invest in and thrive within the Cold Chain industry.
Under the overarching theme of “A Robust and Efficient Cold Chain Infrastructure,” this gathering presents a unique opportunity for Jammu & Kashmir’s entrepreneurs to engage with and access the latest cold chain technologies and infrastructure, all within their regional vicinity, organisers said.
“We see this as a transformative event for J&K’s agri economy, and look forward to new initiatives and ideas” Maajid Wafai, President JKPICCA told Ziraat Times.
