Srinagar, Jan 19: A record 5818 people tested positive for Covid-19 in J&K on Tuesday, making it the highest single day number since the start of the pandemic.
On Wednesday J&K also reported four Covid related deaths even as the number of active cases rose to 26,236.
With four more deaths, the pandemic death toll in J&K has reached 4,579.
