Srinagar, Aug 8: In a latest development, Jammu & Kashmir administration has re-constituted the Board of Directors of Jammu and Kashmir Industries Limited (JKI).
As per a Government Order (No: i54 -IND of 2021, dated: 6 August, 2021), a copy of which has been obtained by Ziraat Times, the Principal Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce, has noted that the ‘reconstitution comes in supersession of all previous orders on the subject.’
Accordingly, in the re-constitution process of the Board of Directors of Jammu & Kashmir Industries Limited (JKI), in terms of Article 68 (2) of the Article of Association (AoA) of the Corporation, the names and the designation status of the new board of directors is as follows:
1. Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan – Chairman
Advisor to Hon`ble Lt. Governor.
2. Dr. A.K.Mehta (IAS) – Director
Financial Commissioner, Finance Department.
3. Mr. Ranjan Prakash Thakur – Director
Principal Secretary to the Government, Industries & Commerce Department
4. Ms. Sushma Chouhan ( IAS) – Director
Secretary to the Government, Planning, Dev & Monitoring Department
5. Ms. Kusum Badyal – Director
Special Secretary to the Government Industries & Commerce Department
6. Mr. Sanjay Handoo – Director
