Srinagar: Leiutnant Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha, will chair a meeting with the new Chief Secretary today at Srinagar civil secretariat at 11 am.
In a notice issued late Sunday, a copy of which has been received by Ziraat Times, all administrative secretaries stationed in Srinagar have been asked to attend the meeting. Administrative secretaries based in Jammu secretariat shall join through video conferencing.
Pertinently, as reported by Ziraat Times earlier, Dr A. K Mehta, the newly-appointed Chief Secretary of J&K will assume his charge starting 31st May, 2021 and all relevant files have been directed to be routed to him effective today.
The outgoing Chief Secretary B.V.R. Subramanyam will assume the position of Union Commerce Secretary in June.
