SRINAGAR: The Federation of Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) has strongly condemned the deadly explosion at Chandni Chowk near Red Fort in New Delhi, which claimed 13 innocent lives and left over 20 others injured, calling it a cowardly and inhuman act of terror.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, FCIK expressed deep shock and outrage over the incident, describing it as an attack aimed at disturbing peace and spreading fear among citizens. “On behalf of the entire industrial fraternity of Kashmir, FCIK strongly condemns this inhuman act of terror. Violence in any form stands in absolute contradiction to the values of humanity and civilized coexistence,” the statement read.
The organisation extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for strength and patience to bear the loss of their loved ones. It also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the explosion.
Reaffirming its commitment to peace and stability, the FCIK emphasised that national progress and prosperity are impossible without security and social harmony. The body urged the Central and State Governments to strengthen cooperation and coordination among security and intelligence agencies to prevent recurrence of such tragic incidents.
“The industrial community of Kashmir stands in complete solidarity with the victims and their families. FCIK joins the nation in mourning this painful loss and calls for unity, vigilance, and resilience against all forms of extremism and violence,” the statement concluded.
