SRINAGAR: The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) has strongly condemned the tragic blast near Delhi’s historic Red Fort, describing it as an “inhumane and intolerable act of terror” that claimed several innocent lives and left many others injured.
In a statement issued here, the CCIK expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the loss of lives, extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. “Such barbaric acts targeting innocent civilians are intolerable and must be met with the strongest response,” the Chamber said.
The CCIK reaffirmed that the entire business community of Jammu and Kashmir stands in firm solidarity with those affected by the tragedy. “Those behind such inhumane acts should be brought to justice without delay. There can be no compromise on the killing of innocents,” the statement read.
Urging the Government of India to ensure the safety and security of citizens, the Chamber called upon both the Centre and the Delhi Government to provide justice and necessary support to the families who lost their loved ones in the explosion.
The CCIK members also held a condolence meeting to mourn the victims of the blast, praying to Almighty Allah to grant courage and patience to the bereaved families and eternal peace to the departed souls.
The Kashmir business community has joined other trade bodies across India in denouncing the act, calling it an assault on peace, stability, and the shared values of humanity.
