Srinagar: An Indo-Australian delegation led by Dr. Sajid N. Saiyed, Chairman of the Bharat CSR Network, met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday and proposed a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for Jammu & Kashmir.
The delegation outlined projects including the establishment of 10 Smart Villages, setting up Artificial Intelligence (AI) labs, a Waste-to-Wealth programme for sustainability, water remediation projects, construction of community centres, and rehabilitation support for flood victims.
Welcoming the proposals, the Lieutenant Governor appreciated the delegation’s commitment to sustainable development and community empowerment in the Union Territory. He assured full support from the administration for the implementation of the initiatives.
