Srinagar | The Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) on Sunday expressed deep grief over the tragic landslide along the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage route, which has claimed several lives.

In a statement, TAAK President Rauf A. Tramboo extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and expressed solidarity with them in their hour of grief.

“We are deeply saddened by this loss and call for swift action to ensure the safety of pilgrims and locals alike,” Tramboo said, urging the administration to provide immediate relief and compensation to the victims. He also stressed the need for strong preventive measures to avoid such incidents in the future.

The TAAK President further voiced concern over the series of flash floods and landslides that have recently hit different parts of Jammu and Kashmir, displacing many families. He called for both urgent relief and long-term rehabilitation plans for the affected communities.
