Srinagar: A high-level delegation from the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) met with Satish Chandra, Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Real Estate Regulatory Authority (J&K RERA), to deliberate on policy and regulatory issues affecting the real estate and infrastructure sectors in the Union Territory.

According to a statement issued to Ziraat Times, the delegation was led by Rajeev Talwar, Past President of PHDCCI, and included Himayu Wani, Co-Chair, PHDCCI Kashmir; Sameer Gupta from PHDCCI New Delhi; Retd. Major General Ashok Narula (AVSM); and Iqbal Fayaz Jan, Deputy Director, PHDCCI Kashmir.

Chairperson Satish Chandra acknowledged the concerns raised by the delegation and expressed RERA’s commitment to engaging constructively with industry stakeholders. He encouraged the Chamber to submit a detailed proposal outlining sector-specific issues and policy suggestions, which could support a more efficient and investor-friendly regulatory environment.
