J&K Hoteliers Club and CCIK Welcome Ceasefire Between India and Pakistan

Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir Hoteliers Club Chairman, Mushtaq Ahmad Chaya, and President Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK), Tariq Ghani, have jointly welcomed the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, calling it a significant and timely step towards restoring peace and harmony in the region.

In a joint statement, Chaya and Ghani emphasized that continued hostilities could have spiraled into a dangerous conflict, risking the lives of countless civilians and military personnel. “This war could have turned into a wild turmoil, leading to a devastating loss of innocent lives and unnecessary destruction,” they said.

They extended heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones in the unfortunate incidents over the past few days. “We stand in solidarity with the bereaved families and pray for their strength and patience during this difficult time.”

We are now anticipating a future of harmony, peace, and progress and hope this ceasefire becomes a stepping stone toward lasting stability in the region.
