Srinagar: A picinic bus carrying students of a college in Kupwara met with an accident near Vodpora area of North Kashmir’s Handwara on Saturday.
Officials told that a bus, carrying students for picnic from a Kupwara college, lost its control and turned turtle near Vodpora.
In this incident 17 students are reported to be injured and while one student is confirmed to be dead. Three seriously injured students have been shifted to Srinagar.
Meanwhile, a team of civil administration, police and locals have reached the spot and are assisting in rescue and administration of medical care for the injured.
