An affront to humanity: Srinagar’s Shahre Khass Traders and Chambers condemn Pahalgam carnage

Srinagar: The Shahre Khass Traders and Chambers has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, calling it a heinous and senseless act of violence that has shaken the conscience of the entire region.

In a statement issued to Ziraat Times by Chief Spokesperson Raqib Altaf Shah on behalf of the chairman, president, and all core members, the traders’ body described the attack as “not just an assault on individuals but an affront to humanity.” The organization stressed that such brutality has no place in a civilized society.

“The perpetrators of this atrocious crime must face punishment without delay. Justice must be swift and decisive,” the statement said, urging the government to immediately provide compensation to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack.

The Shah Re Khass Traders and Chambers expressed solidarity with the victims and their grieving families, offering heartfelt condolences and full support during this difficult time. The group called on all sections of society to unite against terrorism and work towards lasting peace and harmony.

“This tragic incident must strengthen our resolve to create a future where no one lives in fear,” the statement concluded.
