Public transport restored in Srinagar city centre; Joint Traders Association hails Admin decision

Srinagar: As the public transport has been restored in Srinagar city centre areas of Lal Chowk, Residency Road, etc;  Joint Traders Association and Regal Chowk Traders Association ( RCTA) have hailed the administration for the decision.

Farhan Kitab, President of the Regal Chowk Traders Association (RCTA) and Chairman of the Joint Traders Association (an amalgam of 14 city center markets) while expressing  gratitude to the administration and SSP Traffic for their support in resuming public transport through the city center, said in a statement to Ziraat Times that public transport had been barred for months due to ongoing Smart City construction projects, which had significantly impacted the accessibility and footfall in city center markets.

“This decision to restore public transport is a crucial step towards reviving the vibrancy of city center markets. It reflects the administration’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the trade sector,” Mr. Kitab stated.

He further emphasized that improved connectivity will have a positive impact on the retail sector, encouraging more customers to visit the city center and supporting the livelihoods of thousands of traders.

The Joint Traders Association applauds this initiative and looks forward to continued collaboration with the administration to ensure the development of both the Smart City project and the local trade ecosystem.

It would all the time be stimulating to read content from different writers and follow just a little something from their store. I’d want to use some with the content material on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll provide you with a link on your internet blog. Thanks for sharing.
