Govt orders transfer of several IPS officers; ADGP Vijay Kumar relieved for Delhi posting

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the transfer and posting of several senior IPS officers.

According to a government order, Vijay Kumar (IPS, AGMUT:1997), ADGP has been relieved from Jammu and Kashmir to take up a new assignment in the Delhi segment of the AGMUT Cadre.

S.J.M. Gillani (IPS), Director General of Police (DGP) and Managing Director of Police Housing Corporation, will now hold the additional charge of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K, until further orders.

Anand Jain (IPS), ADGP Jammu Zone, has been transferred and posted as ADGP Armed, J&K.

Bhim Sen Tuti (IPS), IGP (POS), PHQ, who was holding additional charge of IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), and IGP (Telecom), has been transferred and posted as IGP Jammu Zone.

Suleman Choudhary (IPS), IGP Traffic, J&K, will now hold additional charge of IGP (POS) PHQ, IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), and IGP (Telecom) until further orders—(KNO)
