Omar leads with 13,315 votes; PDP’s Aga Muntazir second with 7270 votes

Srinagar: In the ongoing vote counting for Budgam constituency (Assembly Constituency 27), Omar Abdullah from the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference is showing a dominant performance. As of the 5th round out of 13, Omar Abdullah is leading with 13,315 votes, holding a substantial margin of 6,045 votes over his nearest competitor, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi from the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party, who trails with 7,270 votes.

Other candidates, including Nisar Ahmad Pal and Aga Syed Ahmad Moosvi, are trailing far behind with minimal vote counts.

With 13 rounds of counting in total, the results might still shift, but Omar Abdullah’s current lead suggests that he is well on track to secure a decisive victory in Budgam.
