In Samba, BJP’s Surjeet Slathia takes big lead over Congress, DPAP

Srinagar: In the Samba Assembly Constituency of Jammu & Kashmir, after the 7th round of counting, Surjeet Singh Slathia of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leads decisively with 27,629 votes. His closest competitor, Independent candidate Ravinder Singh Lablu, trails far behind with 10,446 votes, leaving a significant gap of over 17,000 votes. The Congress party has garnered just 2,278 votes, while the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) has 1,959 votes.
