J&K Govt announces major reshuffle in Finance Department

Srinagar, Aug 9:

The Government of Jammu &  Kashmir, through its Finance Department, has issued a notification regarding the transfer and posting of several senior officials within the department today. These administrative changes have been made in the interest of efficient governance and will take effect immediately, an official notification received by Ziraat Times said.

Details of Transfers and Postings are as below:

1. Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Lone
Previous Position: Director General (Codes), Finance Department

New Position: Director General, Accounts & Treasuries, J&K
Replaced: Mr. Mahesh Dass

2. Mr. Mohd. Youqib Itoo
Previous Position: Director General (Budget), Finance Department
New Position: Director General, J&K Funds Organization

Additional Responsibility: Supervision of the Resources Section of Finance Department

Replaced: Ms. Neeraj Gupta Bakshi

3. Mr. Mahesh Dass
Previous Position: Director General, Accounts & Treasuries, J&K

New Position: Director General (Codes), Finance Department

Replaced: Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Lone

4. Mr. Parvez Sajjad Sofi

Previous Position: Director General, Local Fund Audit & Pensions, J&K

New Position: Director General, Audit & Inspections, J&K

Replaced: Mr. Mohd. Sultan Malik
