EPG to hold crucial seminar in Srinagar on Sunday; prominent subject experts to speak

Srinagar, Aug 25: The Environmental Policy Group (EPG), a leading enviro-social think tank of J&K, is organizing a one-day seminar on Sunday, August 25th, to address the critical challenges and opportunities for achieving ecological resilience in Jammu & Kashmir by 2040. The seminar, titled “Sustainable J&K 2040: Towards  Ecological Resilience,” will be held at Sarovar Portico, near the UNO Office in Sonwar, Srinagar.

This seminar is planned to bring together environmental experts, policymakers, and local stakeholders to discuss innovative strategies for sustainable development in the region. The event will explore various subtopics, ranging from the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) in managing water bodies and forests, to the potential of solar energy in shaping a sustainable future for Jammu & Kashmir.

The seminar will be graced by the presence of Zareef A Zareef, who will serve as the Chief Guest, lending his support to the cause of sustainable development in the region.
