BNI business networking group launches its Srinagar operations

Srinagar, 6 Aug:  Business Network International (BNI), the world’s largest business networking organization, has launched its presence in Srinagar. Established 39 years ago, BNI is now active in over 79 countries with a global membership exceeding 328,441, an official statement released to Ziraat Times today said.

In the last 12 months alone, BNI members worldwide have exchanged business referrals valued at 23.08 billion US dollars, the statement added.

BNI began operations in India 20 years ago and has since expanded to over 130 cities with more than 60,935 members. These members have generated over 41,083 crores of rupees in business between each other in the past year. The organization operates on the ‘Givers Gain Philosophy,’ a trademark concept emphasizing reciprocal business referrals within the network.

The launch event in Srinagar was attended by BNI Jammu & Kashmir Executive Directors Dimpi Gupta and Raghav Gupta, along with Global Growth Consultant Ayush Bansal and regional team members Jaskaran Singh Madaan, Tanvir Hussain, Anubhav Aggarwal, and Vaneet Aggarwal.

Raghav Gupta highlighted that BNI members meet weekly to exchange quality business referrals, fostering business growth. “We are in the process of launching two chapters in Srinagar and expect the Jammu & Kashmir region to grow to a member size of 300 within a year,” he stated. BNI’s unique structure allows only one member from each profession per chapter, eliminating competition.

Dimpi Gupta explained that BNI aims to help members increase their business through a structured, positive, and professional networking and referral program, enabling long-term, meaningful relationships with other business professionals. Members do not pay any commissions for the business gained through referrals.

Ayush Bansal emphasized BNI’s goal to create a collaborative culture. The average seat value per member in new business terms in BNI India is INR 72.09 lakhs per year and is growing. Forbes Magazine has listed BNI among the Top 3 Essential Local Small Business Associations in today’s dynamic business environment.
