GoI announces PCCF, CCF and CF promotions of senior J&K IFS officers

Srinagar, Dec 31: The Government of India has announced the promotions of several senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers from Jammu & Kashmir (AGMUT cadre) to Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), Chief Conservator of Forests (CCFs) and Conservator of Forests (CFs) ranks.

According to three separate orders issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, made available to Ziraat Times today, Vasu Yadav, IFS (AGMUT:1994) Chairman, J&K Pollution Control Board (SDR) has been promoted to the rank of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) with effect from January 1, 2024.

The Government of India has also announced promotion of two officers of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) to the rank of Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) with effect from January 1, 2024. The promoted officers are:

M.K. Kumar, IFS (AGMUT:2006), from CF, J&K to CCF.
Irfan Rasool Wani, IFS (AGMUT:2006), from CF, J&K to CCF.
Moreover, senior IFS officers Irfan Ali Shah, Vivek Verma, Sat Paul, Jitendra Kumar Singh of the Joint AGMUT Cadre have been promoted to the grade of Conservator of Forests (CF) with effect from January 1, 2024.

According to the notifications, the posting and transfers of the promoted officers will be notified separately.
