Srinagar, Aug 28: In a significant development, Jammu & Kashmir on Sunday announced that the recent JKSSB recruitment of Finance Accounts Assistants (FAAs) and Junior Engineers (JE) Civil has been cancelled.
A CBI probe has also been recommended into whole selection processes.
An official order said that “J&K government assures all aspirants that culprits will not be spared & there won’t be any compromise on merit. Fresh recruitment process for FAAs and JE Civil will start soon.”
This announcement has come a major shock to hundreds of those selectees who maintain that their selection was based on their efforts and merit. They have also maintained that the government should cancel only the recruitment of those who had passed the exam by unfair means.
