FCIK condoles demise of Syed Siraj-ud-Din Qalander

Srinagar, June 11: Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) has expressed condolences to the family of Syed Siraj-ud-Din Qalander on his demise today. Syed Siraj-ud-Din Qalander is the father of prominent industrialist and former FCIK president Shakeel Qalander.

FCIK held a condolence meeting under President Shahid Kamili to honour the memory of Syed Siraj-ud-Din Qalander today. During the meeting participants paid rich tributes to Syed Siraj-ud-Din Qalander and extended condolence to his family, relatives & friends, a statement issued to Ziraat Times said. 

FCIK Secretary General Ovees Qadir Jamie said that FCIK fraternity shares the family’s grief & sorrow and ‘we pray to Allah to give his family patience and courage to bear this loss.’ FCIK also  extended their condolences to his sons including Syed Shakeel Qalandar  former President FCIK.

“Syed Siraj-ud-Din Qalander was a renowed Islamic scholar, social worker and a man of honesty & integrity. Syed Siraj-ud-Din Qalander had an immense in-depth knowledge of wood based industry & was talented, bright, promising and hardworking always supporting the youth on business front. He was full of ideas on innovations that industry in Kashmir could adopt for survival. He has always worked hard for the upliftment of the business community and had great understanding of the business scenario of Kashmir”, FCIK said in a statement to Ziraat Times.
