Srinagar, Jan 5: The associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir(CCIK) has expressed serious concern over frequent cancellation of flights at Srinagar airport.
In a statement to Ziraat Times , CCIK president Tariq Ghani said unfortunately snowfall of less than few inches has disrupted air trafic continuously for two days.
CCIK president said cancellation of flights is causing inconvenience to the travellers and huge loss to the tourism sector.
“Authorities have not kept men and machinery ready.”
CCIK said the cancellation of flights has caused huge losses to hoteliers and tourism industry.
CCIK appealed to the administration to look into the matter and keep men, machinery and other facilities ready for landing and take- off for the upcoming winters.
